Title Brief encounters® DVD Resource for Parenting Fund Practitioners
This DVD is designed to demonstrate the entire Brief encounter® approach.
The encounter shows an interaction between a Parenting Fund worker and a parent who is experiencing some relationship issues. It highlights the listening skills used to respond to the parent, explore the issues and end the encounter in a time managed way.
The DVD can be used as a visual guide to accompany the resource cards and is useful in supervision and discussion with staff.
