Title The Ties that Bind
This DVD will encourage workers in children's centres to gain an understanding of the importance of partner/marriage relationships for the wellbeing of children and the health of whole families.
It will enable workers to detect signs of stress in their clients and to learn simple and effective techniques to support them.
It will also support workers to learn how to limit their own involvement in the problems of service users so that they can approach families' problems without fear of being overwhelmed.
The DVD consists of a 20 minute film supported by training resources.
