Title Working with Separated Families: maximising Support for Children
"All parents face stress and difficulties at soem point. Many are crying out for more support and advice. For the sake of thier children, it is vital they get support and advice as and when they need it." Dame Mary Marsh, director and chief executive of the NSPCC.
Working with Separated Families is a workshop tool designed to assist in developing an effective approach to working with separated families across all services, based on an expectation of child-centered co-operation.
It examines aspects of the law, how to meet the needs of families experiencing separation, how to reduce conflict and increase co-operation and how to develop an intergrated approach to working with families.
It is of use to those working at strategic, management and practitioner level and provides a platform for further development of best practise for organisations working with separated families.
