To improve outcomes for children and young people by working with Fathers who are known to Social Care or CAFCASS and who are currently involved in legal proceedings around custody, contact and/or access via the courts where Social Services/ CAFCASS are involved, and/or whose parenting is a cause for concern i.e. where there are safeguarding issues – formal or otherwise
To promote positive Fatherhood by encouraging and supporting Fathers to develop a greater understanding of, and confidence in, their parenting role and by challenging the obstacles that Fathers frequently encounter
To provide a number of parenting programmes and support groups and to develop a range of 'wrap around' support services that are specifically geared to the needs of Fathers
