Continyou is a national learning charity that aims to open up learning opportunities that are accessible to everyone. Our vision is of a world where everyone has the chance to transform their lives through learning, so that they can be confident, achieve and help build supportive families and strong communities.
Involving Men as Fathers seminars aims for delegates to return to their organisations and make changes in work practice in order to involve more fathers/male carers in their organisation. Post training, delegates will be asked to monitor the change in male involvement, using a variety of tools including: Base line data of male attendance, continued male attendance, male consultation, focus groups, good practice proforma.
ContinYou will offer 9 x 30 people seminars each year between the 4 authorities (270). Delegates will be recruited from Children's Services and Parent Forums and are likely to include children's centres, extended services, early years, health workers etc.
