Aim of CANW
To promote the health and well being of children , young people by providing accessible services that encourage children, young people and their families or carers to make a positive contribution that enables them to stay safe, enjoy and achieve and shape their own futures to reach their full potential.
Jigsaw: FGM & Therapeutic Parenting & Family Support Service:
Aim:
'To provide therapeutic and evidence based parenting & family support services to promote the emotional health and well being of parents/carers and young people to sstrengthen family relationships in families where parental behaviours compromise family wellbeing, or live with high degrees of conflict and distress, or families that have experienced separation or loss through bereavement, divorce, or other circumstances such as custodial sentences, and
also promote inclusion and equality by enabling the take up of services by disadvantaged, vulnerable, 'hard to reach' and less well served communities'.

Beneficiaries:
Target Group: targeted, specialist and therapeutic support for up to 50 vulnerable parents / Carers and their families per year (referred via local Primary & Secondary schools, Young Carers and the Youth Offending Service).
Jigsaw will provide quick and easy access to advice, guidance and longer term parenting/family support (1:1 intensive direct work, group work within the local community, family group meetings, family counselling, training and development opportunities)
