We are using the grant to employ a Parenting Coordinator to drive the development of the Parenting Strategy for Leicester. This work will feed into the Parenting Strategy Partnership Board, a sub group of the Leicester Children and Young People's Strategic Partnership. We will:

• Develop a network of family, parents, voluntary groups and partners to inform the strategy and service provision in creative and innovative ways
• Train, support and develop the capacity of parenting groups to inform and enhance policy and decision making
• Link, coordinate and develop parent run and parent engaging voluntary organisations
• Promote a parent led approach to service development and delivery, leading to better outcomes for parents and young people.
