In partnership with the Asian Health Agency, CEN will work with parents who have children excluded from school in Croydon. It will develop their parenting skills and attitudes towards education so their children develop positive attitudes to school and authority. The project aims for successful and sustained reintegration. We do this by:
- offering advocacy or representation at governors' hearings
- working with parents whose children are at risk of exclusion by offering mediation, support and advice
- running the Strengthening Families, Strengthening Communities programme for parents of children excluded from school (2 thirteen week programmes).
- Running multi agency workshops/seminars around collaborative working and the respect agenda
